Charges Pending against Waller County News Blogger

(Houston TX) – WallerCountyNews.Blogspot recently came under investigation by the FBI Cyber Crimes Division and the Houston Police Department. The investigation stems from complaints by individuals who have been criminally harrassed by the blog moderator.
The blog postings at WallerCountyNews.blogspot included illegal pornography videos, photographs of persons obtained through stalking, as well as felonious threats.
Victims have named local Hempstead resident Irving Lee Marshall as the blog moderator. Internet harrassment seems to be the overall theme of WallerCountyNews.blogspot.com, with a limited amount of local political news in an attempt to qualify the blog as newsworthy.
“There are some unsavory characters out here in Waller County posting as authoritative figures trying to pass off a blog as the official news source of Waller County. These people have complete and total disregard for the truth. They attack good people within the community who are trying to make a difference” said Fern Poyser of Hempstead TX.
Poyser added “These are the three most hated people in Waller County and the citizens of Waller County will not rest until they are taken down.”
Mrs. Poyser may get her wish. Google and AT&T (parent of SBC Global) have been subpoenaed by two additional victims of the Waller County News blog. Along with the ip trace route, the subpoena included demands for emails as well.
Criminal Cyber Harrassment is nothing new to Google. “In 2009 Google answered 143,612 subpoenas in relation to criminal activity via the Blogspot platform” said Johanna Wright, Director of Product Management.
Victims of the WallerCountyNews.blogspot are encouraged to contact the IC3 Division of the FBI Houston office at (713) 693-5000 to file your criminal complaint and or witness statement. Houston residents may also contact H.P.D. at (713) 308-8600 to file a criminal harrassment complaint.

As a result, TexasMatrix has submitted formal abuse complaints to IC3, AT&T (SBC Global), and Google. In addition, WallerCountyNews.blogspot has been access denied to our peering hub by our network provider.
When will amatuer bloggers realize they can’t hide behind google when committing crimes? More importantly, what idiot would ever pick a fight with a firm that specializes in Asymmetric Warfare?

Perhaps the stalker would spend his time better upgrading that circa 1990 blog to something that doesnt look like it was thrown together by a basement amatuer designer. Is it just me or did anyone else notice the blog doesn’t have any legitimate sponsors or partners. Crime doesn’t pay

Im not criticizing you for being defamed; I’m criticizing you for not swiftly and surely using skill sets to effectively quash the threat. Frankly, I think this blogger is beneath the attention of our industry. If you would be so kind as to post the ip range, we [the readers] would enjoy a bit of fun.
You might want to contact the Texas Thunder Ice House and inform them of this complaint process. Irving L Marshall’s back yard is backed up to the establishment, and he harrasses their patrons in the same manner.

Alexa has that blog ranked at 14,214,249. I doubt anyone but his mother reads that struggling blog. In any event, no one can search it. Its sand-bagged in the supplemental results.
