Basic QualificationsRequires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master’s degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.Responsibilities For This PositionROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:As a mechanical engineer for GDMS, you’ll be a member a cross functional team responsible for supporting the design and development of a new subsea capability.What sets you apart: Strong proficiency with modeling CAD tools to create mechanical models and drawings Experience designing subsea products and systems Extensive knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication methods, as well as technical, government, and industry standards Collaborative, creative thinker with experience leading complex projects Strong communication skills with ability to write technical papers and proposals Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others Our Commitment to You: An exciting career path with opportunities for continuous learning and development.
