Lesker Process Equipment Division.Job Summary:The ElectricalAssembly Technician is responsible for assembling standard and custom panels, sub-assemblies, and systems. This role involves working on intricate cables and electrical assemblies, following complex schematics and work instructions. We are looking for a skilled and experienced electrical assembler to join our team.Key JobResponsibilities:Assembly and basic testing ofhigher-level electro-mechanical assembliesWiring within the system frameworkMounting of mechanical and electrical sub-assembliesAbility to troubleshoot basic electrical assembliesMay include some on-site service workSafely work with standard tools and portable power equipmentRead shop drawings and wiring diagramsRead Bills of Materials (BOMs) to determine component parts and assembly sequencesAssemble parts, and position, align, and fasten assemblies, subassemblies, using hand tools and power toolsModify parts by drilling, tapping, countersinking, etc. machine tools, power and pneumatic hand toolsPosition, align, and adjust parts for proper fit and assemblyAttach labels and mark identifying information on partsAdhere to all company policies, guidelines and practices including the SPIRIT valuesAssemble components onto panel following the mechanical layout with zero deficienciesWire components per the electrical schematic following predefined guidelines and standardsCapable of completing minor modifications for metal panel work like drilling and tappingOther duties as assigned by managementQualificationsRequiredHigh School Diploma or equivalentAbility tolift upto 30 pounds3 – 5 years related work experienceAbility to bend, stoop, squat, twist and lift up to and including 30 lbs. unassisted. Assistance must be used for any items over this weight.
