Our electricians install, maintain, and repair electrical power, communications, lighting, and control systems.As a Journeyman you will: Execute electrical wiring plans for lighting, intercom, and other systems Install electrical apparatus, fixtures, and alarm systems Install safety and distribution components (e.g., switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels) Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks, ensuring component compatibility Assemble and install conduits, then connect wiring through them Perform preventative maintenance by inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables Diagnose electrical hazards or malfunctions and repair or replace damaged units Requirements5+ years of electrical experience in commercial or industrial settingsTenant Improvement experience (Class A)Ability to complete projects from start to finish independentlyExperience with lighting control systems Proficiency in conduit installation, wiring, panel systems, and troubleshootingValid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving recordTDLR Journeyman Electrician License Willingness to pass a drug screeningTools & Equipment Used Drill & Impact Set Electrician tool pouch Pliers, Wire Strippers, Screwdrivers, Nut Drivers Ladders, Drywall Saw, Utility Knife, Levels Electrical Testers, Multimeter, Receptacle Tester Tape Measure, Paddle/Spade Bits, MarkersBenefitsAt Edge Electric, we are committed to the well-being, professional growth, and financial security of our employees.
