At ABX We Offer$1000 hiring bonus for new hiresCompetitive salary and benefits packageFlex Pay Excellent training programs and growth opportunities A collaborative, innovative, and inclusive culture Fun and challenging work that makes a difference Excellent benefits, including medical, dental, vision (eligible day 1,) as well as life, 401k with match, quarterly bonus opportunity, and much more!Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited ToPerform electrical maintenance on all equipmentTroubleshoot and repair equipment as neededPerform preventive maintenance on all manufacturing equipmentAssist operators when necessaryFamiliarity with NECAssist in the maintenance of spare parts inventoryAssist in the completion of special projects including equipment installation, machine and building modifications, and safety improvementsInstall and maintain electrical and electronics systems of the plant and equipmentLayout and machine repair parts when necessary and also operate typical tools to machine parts to exacting tolerancesDiagnose machine malfunctions and make required repairs and adjustments to keep machine in productionAssemble, align units and machinesMake sketches of replacement partsMaintain a safe and clean working environmentAvailable for call-in for equipment and building maintenance problemsFollow SQF guidelinesPerform other duties as assignedQualifications And ExperienceMinimum 3-years’ experience in electrical and mechanical machine maintenanceExperience working with printing, extrusion, and thermoforming equipment is preferablePlumbing skills including sizing and installing copper, black iron, galvanized, and PVC pipe, gauges, valves, meters, and fixturesExperience operating tools such as lathes, drills, presses, milling machines, surface grinders, and portable hand toolsEducation/ KnowledgeHigh School Diploma or equivalent, vocational certificate preferredMust be computer literateKnowledge of electrical systems including distribution, circuits, wiring, fuses, switches, and relaysUnderstanding of PLC’s, ladder logic, I/O, and machine control devicesUnderstanding of lubrication procedures including the use of oil and greaseBasic understanding of mechanical systems including belt, pulleys, gears, motors, and transmissionsAbility to read schematics and blueprints along with a sufficient understanding of electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to trace problems when prints are not availableBasic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and devicesMinimum three years technical trainingABX Innovative Packaging Solutions is an equal opportunity employer.
