The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure all facilities are safe, well-maintained, and compliant with local regulations. A strong commitment to quality workmanship and customer service is essential for success in this position.Key Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance and repairs on residential properties, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general carpentryConduct regular inspections of buildings and equipment to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standardsRespond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants and resolve issues in a timely mannerAssist in the implementation of preventative maintenance programs to extend the lifespan of equipment and facilitiesMaintain accurate records of work orders, repairs, and inspections, and report any significant issues to the Maintenance SupervisorCollaborate with other maintenance staff and property management to address tenant concerns and improve overall resident satisfactionEnsure all tools and equipment are maintained in good working order and report any issues to managementFollow all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environmentParticipate in on-call rotation for emergency maintenance requests outside of regular business hoursRequirementsPrevious experience as a maintenance technician or in a related fieldKnowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and general maintenance practicesStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood communication skills and a customer-focused attitudeValid driver’s license and reliable transportationBenefitsCompetitive salary commensurate with experienceComprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plansRetirement savings plan with employer matchPaid time off and holidaysProfessional development opportunities and ongoing trainingHow to Apply:Please submit your resume and cover letter detailing your qualifications and interest in the Maintenance Technician position at CYM Living.
