This role is a great opportunity to get to the ground floor of a growing and successful company. This is an hourly position located in Mahwah, NJ.ResponsibilitiesSet up and adjust machinery for production processes:Installing and Adjusting Machinery: install and adjust feed mechanisms, guide rollers, tracks, and machine fittings according to the size and shape of the materials being processed.Calibrating Controls: adjust controls like setscrews and cams to synchronize machine mechanisms.Regulating Temperature: regulate thermostatic controls on heated units of machines.Replacing Worn Parts: disassemble machines and replace worn or defective parts.Testing and Troubleshooting: start machines to test adjustments and examine products for defects, making necessary readjustments.Maintenance: sharpen machine punches and blades, replace or repair defective machine belts, and perform preventive maintenance.Perform equipment troubleshooting and repair.Assist to determine and document preventive maintenance and services required to perform.Install and bring production line equipment to the factory.Assemble, install, and perform testing on the equipment as part of the deployment effort.Document installation and testing procedures.Perform & document preventive maintenance and services to the equipment.Identify and document spare parts and quantity needed to keep in stock in the manufacturing facility.
