The Industrial Electrician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting electrical issues, and repairing equipment. If you’re looking for a great career opportunity with a growing company that is the leader in product handling for the petrochemical industry, then consider joining the PSC family!Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (Must be available for flexible hours with periodic weekend work and overtime)Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to prevent failuresTroubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems in power distribution systems, motor controls, PLCs, instrumentation, and lighting systemsRepair / replace faulty electrical components, such as switches, relays, circuit breakers, and motorsDevelop and implement effective solutions to electrical issues in a timely manner to minimize downtimeEnsure all work is performed in compliance with relevant electrical codes and standardsWork effectively with other maintenance personnel, engineers, and and production teamFollows company safe work policies and proceduresCompletes any other duties assignedJob QualificationsMust have at least a Texas state Apprentice Electrician licensePrior experience as an industrial electrician in a manufacturing environment is preferredBasic computer knowledge is requiredMust be able to follow OSHA safety standards and be safety conscious at all timesMust possess a valid driver’s license18 years or older and legally able to work in the USStable work history with good references from past employersPass a drug screen, physical, and background checkPSC is a veteran-friendly company.
