We are committed to providing safe, sustainable, and reliable services to our clients while maintaining a strong focus on employee well-being and safety.Job descriptionPosition SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic to maintain, repair, and service a wide variety of rental equipment, mining machinery, and trucking vehicles. This position involves working with both heavy-duty and specialized machinery, ensuring that all equipment is in good working order, safe, and operational for daily use.Key ResponsibilitiesRental Equipment:Inspect, maintain, and repair various rental equipment (e.g., generators, lifts, excavators, etc.).Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on rental machinery.Conduct routine maintenance and service on equipment to ensure it is ready for use by customers.Keep accurate records of equipment repairs, parts used, and service logs.Mining EquipmentPerform regular inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on mining equipment, including drills, loaders, haul trucks, and crushers.Ensure that all mining machinery operates safely and efficiently by adhering to industry standards and regulations.Work closely with mining teams to ensure minimal downtime for equipment during operations.Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.Trucking EquipmentPerform mechanical repairs and maintenance on a variety of trucks, including light-duty, heavy-duty, and specialized vehicles.Diagnose and repair issues related to engine performance, transmission, suspension, and other critical systems.Ensure trucks are roadworthy by conducting regular inspections and adhering to safety guidelines.QualificationsExperience:Proficient in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system repairs.Previous experience in a rental equipment environment is a plus.Skills & KnowledgeStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex machinery.Knowledge of safety procedures related to mining, heavy equipment, and trucking.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift and move heavy parts and equipment (up to 50 lbs).Comfortable working in various weather conditions, including outdoor environments.Ability to stand, kneel, and work in tight spaces for extended periods.Additional InformationWork Environment: The mechanic will work both in the shop and on job sites, including mining operations and rental equipment locations.Schedule: Full-time position with the possibility of overtime based on business needs.BenefitsCompetitive salary with potential for overtime payPaid time offTraining and career development opportunitiesSupportive and safety-conscious work environmentHow To ApplyInterested candidates are invited to submit their resume and a brief cover letter toRaitz Enterprises is an equal opportunity employer.
