Job SummaryJob Summary: The Instrumentation and Electrical (I&E) Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of industrial equipment and processes by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing instrumentation and electrical systems. This position involves working in various industrial settings, such as manufacturing plants, refineries, and power generation facilities. The I&E Technician will collaborate with a team of engineers and technicians to ensure the reliability and functionality of critical systems.Duties And ResponsibilitiesEquipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and calibration of instrumentation and electrical equipment to ensure they meet operational standardsTroubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation issues to identify and resolve problems quickly, minimizing downtimeRepairs: Execute necessary repairs or replacements of malfunctioning electrical components, control systems, and instrumentation to restore equipment to proper working conditionInstrument Calibration: Calibrate and configure various instruments, including pressure transmitters, temperature sensors, flow meters, and control valves, to maintain accuracy and reliabilityDocumentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance, and update maintenance logs and databases as requiredSafety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring that all work is performed safely and that all equipment meets safety standardsEmergency Response: Act promptly during emergency situations to mitigate risks and restore equipment functionalityCollaboration: Work closely with engineering and operations teams to support new installations, upgrades, and modifications to instrumentation and electrical systemsTraining: Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and attend training sessions to enhance skills and stay current with emerging technologiesInventory Management: Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment necessary for repairs and maintenance activitiesPowered by JazzHRXOo2y1uqsL
