CMC Partners are hiring for one of the largest national players within the U.S. Mining, Construction and Building Materials Markets. The role my client is actively hiring for is a Drill and Blast Manager.With a strong foundation in aggregates and seeing their quarter revenue increase significantly, this industry leader is expanding rapidly; which has allowed for a Drill and Blast Manager role to become available to support safe, efficient blasting operations and meet growing production demands.Key Responsibilities:Strategic OversightServe as the technical lead for drilling, blasting, and stripping functions across assigned sites.Manage a team of five direct reports focused on operational performance, safety, and innovation.Integrate surface and subsurface development plans with site engineering and production strategies.Operational ExecutionDevelop and approve access plans that support safe, cost-effective site development.Oversee utilization and performance of drill and stripping equipment.Apply modeling tools and data analytics to support planning and operational decision-making.Regulatory Compliance & External RelationsEnsure full compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations related to materials access and handling.Collaborate with regulatory agencies and professional associations as needed.Assist in addressing community concerns and maintaining public trust regarding site development activities.Continuous ImprovementIdentify and implement improvements in efficiency, safety, and cost management.Monitor contractor and vendor performance to maintain high-quality standards and reduce cost-per-ton.Coordinate with procurement and planning teams to streamline resources and logistics.Team DevelopmentDefine expectations, mentor team members, and support professional growth.Create a culture of accountability and continuous improvement aligned with organizational goals.Qualifications: EducationHigh School Diploma required.Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.Experience3–5 years of relevant operations or field experience.At least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.Background in heavy industry, mining, or construction materials strongly preferred.Scope: You will be overseeing multiple sites within the state of Georgia with the opportunity to oversee multiple regions across the United States as you develop into the role.If interested, apply within or send an email to matthew.tofowomo@cmc-partners.com#Leadership #Aggregate #Drillandblastmanager #Mining #Drill&Blast #Georgia #Hirinig #Construction #BuildingMaterials #Drill #Blast
