Electrical Journeyman Certification Required and Preferred Apprenticeship graduate**M3 MEP, LLC is seeking experienced Electrical Foreman for commercial and industrial projects. The Foreman will supervise and work with a crew of skilled and unskilled personnel engaged in electrical related tasks. Applicants must have commercial and industrial experience, be currently certified by the State of California Department of Industrial Relations, and have experience running crews between 5-10 people.Knowledge of NEC and NFPA 70e CodeRead and understand all contract documents, including Mark III scopes, specifications, and plans. Delegate tasks to crew membersCommunication with the General Contractor (GC), clients, and other tradesCreate 3-week look aheads schedulesOrder material and understand work break down schedule Ensure labor hours are met or beatenAbility to Track productionEnter job site time into About Time software Work with Project Engineer (PE) and Project Manager (PM) to document changes in scope of workSafety responsibilities Maintain safety responsibilities, including conducting weekly tailgate meetings, jobsite inspections, Job Hazard Analyses (JHA), Method of Procedures (MOP), Injury and Illness Prevention Programs (IIPP), Lock Out/Tag Out procedures, and heat illness preventionRFI’s, Submittals, Change Orders and Daily’sValue EngineeringIdentify and recruit talentmentor apprentices and journeymanIsometric Plan Drawing RequirementsMust have an active Journeyman Certification in the State of CaliforniaInclude certification number when applyingExcellent knowledge of NEC and NFPA 70eExperience working in a commercial or industrial settingElectrical skills including but not limited to; plan reading, layout, various conduit bending and install, pull box install/wire puling and ability to follow directions. Experience leading, overseeing and directing crews.
