Job Description
The Cam Field Service Specialist will provide hands-on technical supervision and operating support, installation, repair and maintenance of Wellhead, Valves, BOP’s and process equipment and supporting utility systems within customer facilities during pre-spud, drilling, frac, flowback, completions, workover operations, and trouble-shooting situations as required. Willingness to promote the product and service line, Good general attitude towards job duties, willingness to work rigorous schedule in inclement weather and varying condition, ability to drive long distances and follow rigorous safety and procedural guidelines from corporate and our customers.The candidate for the position ideally will:Demonstrated strong mechanical aptitude/ ability Demonstrated work experience with hydraulic systemsDemonstrated ability to communicate effectively with customers, visitors, vendors and other employeesDemonstrated ability to read and understand oral and written instructionsDemonstrated ability to take apart and put together equipment according to detailed specificationsAbility to use hand and power toolsAbility to work in confined spacesAbility to travel to remote locationsAbility to work extended irregular work hoursAbility to work in extreme weather conditions High school diploma or GEDDirect experience working with and installing wellhead valves, chokes, pumps, valves, Christmas valve trees, housing spool rigging mechanismsTwo years + working with Cameron or competitor pressure control equipment preferredExperience with pressure testing and pressure pumpingExperience in construction, HVAC, plumbing, electrician, mechanic, automotive mechanics or other skilled trades
