About The RoleThe Count Room Mechanic reports to the Count Room Senior Manager and is responsible for the repairs and maintenance of all the Count Room related equipment.Mechanic Responsibilities Superior technical, problem solving, troubleshooting and maintenance skills Secure the integrity of the count room equipment and all company assets Support Count Room management in the development of procedures and completing projects Complete knowledge of DGE rules and compliance Monitoring and participate in soft count room activities for cleanliness, safe working conditions, and practices Maintaining parts inventory through accurate controls and records Complying with all policies and regulations Savvy use of technology and basic electronics regarding cashiering and other counting equipment Coordinate and effectively communicate with Cummins technicians to troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on MPX machines. Attendant Responsibilities Remove Bill Validator Drop boxes from Slot Machines and replace with empty boxes. Load dropped Bill Validator boxes on cart and transport to the count room. Trace and match fills/credit slips from Table Games to the Preliminary Master Gaming Report and document any discrepancies. Must be able to operate approved counting equipment and upload end of day totals due to Audit. Empty Table Game Drop boxes, Sportsbook, TRM, ATM and JDU cassettes and slot BVs individually and in numerical order. Maintain confidentiality. Essential Functions Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing customers in a high pressure and fast paced environment. Must be able to stand for an entire shift and be able to move throughout the Casino/Hotel areas. Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Must be able to push a wheeled cart on carpet and tile from a dead stop up to 300 pounds. Must be able to bend and twist from a kneeling, sitting and/or lying position in order to perform maintenance on counting equipment.
