Our bar mill allows us the flexibility to roll a broad range of shapes and sizes.Job DescriptionJob Title: Electrician (Union)Department: MaintenanceSupervisor: Maintenance ManagerSalary: $22.08 – $24.79Job PurposeResponsible for assisting in the production processJob Responsibility SummaryExecute plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning lighting, intercom, and other electrical systemsInstall electrical apparatus, fixtures, and equipment for alarm and other systemsConnect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of componentsExercise critical thinking and problem-solving ability utilizing safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelinesUnderstand electrical schematicsRecordkeeping Preventative Maintenance ProgramTransformer inspections Infrared panel testing PLC and VFD drive troubleshooting, updating, programming, etc.… (knowledge of Siemens a plus) Operation and maintenance on overhead crane (AC and DC)Must communicate with supervisors and coworkersSupervising projects while working hands on with team Maintain a clean and safe work environmentOther duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsAbility to troubleshoot both power wiring and controlsAbility to run rigid conduit and wiringKnowledge in 13.8 KV, 110v/220v, 480v, 2300v, 25 HZ etc… A/C power and working knowledge of 250 DC power. Knowledge of 13.8 KV to 120 VAC Breaker Maintenance and upgrade Electrical preventative maintenance knowledge Understand pre-use tool inspection and site clean-up post completionMINIMUM REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
