The Maintenance Technician position is a key role that includes proactive and reactive maintenance and troubleshooting across multiple areas of the brewery, as well as special projects and implementation of new equipment.Specific Responsibilities IncludeGain an expert level of knowledge of all equipment and production processesAssist the Production Manager in developing and implementing Preventative Maintenance (PM) programsReact quickly and effectively during equipment downtime to resolve issuesContinually improve equipment uptime and efficiency through learning and proactive effortsProvide on-call support for maintenance issues during off-shiftsAssist in managing spare parts inventory and identifying common fail itemsAssist in managing and maintaining tool inventories per our 6S programWork with management to provide key metrics and reportingDevelop and implement SOPs and training documentation for critical path maintenance and repairsAssist in implementation of new equipment and other brewery expansion projectsAssist in production work and other projects as neededFacilities And Maintenance Technician QualificationsAt a minimum, the Facilities and Maintenance Technician must have the following:2+ years of relevant experience performing maintenance on production equipmentKnowledge of critical path equipment, such as a low pressure boiler, plant-wide glycol system, and general tank upkeepAbility to mechanically maintain and adjust equipment to improve its operationExcellent organization and communication skillsAbility to stoop, crawl, twist, turn, lift, kneel, climb ladders and stairsAbility to regularly lift/carry heavy supplies in an environment that may be loud, slick, humid, and hotDesire to work in a fast-paced, growing company, and have a strong work ethic and self-starting attitudeExperience with high speed packaging equipment (brewery experience is strongly preferred), specifically a rotary filler and seamer would be idealCompensationOur total compensation package includes a competitive starting wage, generous paid time off, a health insurance package for full time employees, a generous beer discount to enjoy the fruits of your hard work, and much more.How To ApplyIf you are ready to join the Lord Hobo team, email your resume and a cover letter to careers@lordhobo.com
