Erwin Electric, Inc is currently seeking Commercial Lead Electricians to join our growing team in the Tampa Bay Area.As the Lead Commercial Electrician, you will be responsible for managing and supervising a team of electricians to ensure that all projects are completed to the highest standard, on time, and within budget. Total compensation for Commercial Lead Electrician is based on experience and/or licensing. Candidates with exceptional experience and a successful history of performance will receive top pay.ResponsibilitiesMaintain a safe workplace & provide a high level of professionalismManage electricians and other staff, on all types and sizes of projectsMonitor, direct, motivate, and improve the quantity/quality of work performed by the crew as necessaryCommunicate Erwin Electric, Inc.’s policies and procedures to your work crewsInstall electrical equipment, conductors, lighting, devices, and any other associated material to meet all requirements of the customer’s scope of work, plans, and specsPerform Testing, Upgrades, and Repairs to electrical systems and equipmentEnsure that installations are completed in a neat and workmanlike manner and adhere to OSHA, NEC, and other Florida Building code requirementsMaintain company-provided tools and manage job site inventory levelsMaintains records of work performed; submits reports as requiredIdentify opportunities to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectivenessQualificationsHigh School Diploma or G.E.D. supplemented by a vocational/technical certification in electrical work and/or five (5) years of experience at the journeyman levelMinimum 5 years in the electrical trade with a focus on commercial installationsMinimum 2 years experience in lead/supervisory positionJourneyman electrician license or equivalent certification is strongly preferredAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawingsStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsExcellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skillsValid Driver’s License and Clean Driving RecordClean criminal background check and able to pass a drug testProfessional Appearance and strong communication skillsPhysical RequirementsAbility to use hands to hold, feel, or reach electrical componentsStand, climb, balance, stoop, crouch, or crawl for extended periods of timeAdequate close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and depth perceptionAbility to regularly lift and move 50 lbsCompensation:Attention All Third-Party Agencies, Headhunters, and RecruitersErwin Electric, Inc. will not accept candidate submissions by unsolicited third parties through this site or any company email address.
