Job Description
As the Maintenance Technician, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that all production equipment are safe and in proper operating condition. Additional duties will be to perform all tasks following the cGMP requirements.Other Essential Job Duties And ResponsibilitiesAcknowledge all production calls for critical point checklist and machine breakdownsEnsure all repairs and corrective maintenance performed is verified and properly documentedPerform generated and all assigned Preventative and Predictive Maintenance schedule in a timely manner and following listed activities on a Computerized Maintenance Management SystemMonitor parts and determine minimum/maximum inventory on all assigned equipment. Record all parts used during repair and Preventative Maintenance activities. Assist Inventory Control and Maintenance Planner in physical count for costingCollaborate with Production, Process Engineering and Product Development on quality issues and specificationsEnsure housekeeping and safety compliance in the Maintenance shopCommunicate all machine issues and progress of on-going maintenance undertakings and propose or recommend machine upgrade and projects for process and continuous improvementFabricates, modifies and repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipmentAttend all maintenance meetings, trainings, educational workshops or webinars for updates and personal developmentMaintain positive team dynamic and overall department successComplete all work as assigned within established timelines and in compliance with all printed company policies and proceduresPerform others duties and responsibilities, as assignedWORK ENVIRONMENTExposure to cold temperatures in the winter and hot temperatures in the summerWork occasionally near mechanical parts and in high placesOccasional duties in an outside environmentDuties are performed primarily in a smoke-free environmentPhysical RequirementsFrequently required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, balance and reachRegularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbsPush/Pull up to 300 lbsRequirementsQualified candidates will have either 2+ years of relevant experience as a Maintenance Technician in a fast-paced manufacturing set-up, or related field, or training at an accredited technical schoolStrong problem solving and decision-making skillsAbility to work in a team environment on a variety of complex task and projectsWell-developed interpersonal, organizational and analytical skillsWell-developed written and verbal skillsAbility to demonstrate safe working proceduresMust be willing to work overtime or on weekends, as the workload demandsBenefitsProCaps Laboratories provides:A starting rate of $28 an hour!Excellent Medical, Dental and Vision InsuranceHealth Savings Account with employer contributionPaid Time Off, Holiday Pay401K plan with generous employer match100% Company Life and Short-Term Disability CoverageHealth & Wellness ProgramGym Membership Reimbursement ProgramHealthy Vitamin Discount programEmployee Referral ProgramFantastic work environment that focuses on safety, quality, community, and amazing people.
