Reporting to the Maintenance Manager you will perform maintenance services in the areas of PM’s, basic plumbing & electricity, welding, and machine servicing.Duties And ResponsibilitiesRepairs, replaces, and reassembles defective equipment parts using hand and power tools. Performs routine preventive maintenance on equipment and buildings. Diagnoses mechanical and electrical problems and determines how to correct them. Operates cutting torches or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts. Maintain a clean and organized shop area. Qualifications6 months to 1-year related experience required. Knowledge of hot dip galvanizing, steel fabrication or other custom metal coating operations is a plus. Welding/Fabrication experience preferred. Experience with electrical systems, cranes, hoists, and forklifts preferred. Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. Willingness to learn new skills is a must!Minimum EducationHigh School diploma or equivalent is required.
