All while working in an environment that emphasizes teamwork, integrity, and professionalism.We are currently seeking a Mechanic for our Bossier City, LA location.PURPOSEPerforms physical tasks in the shop, warehouse, or field in support of operations including, but not limited to: inspection, repairs and maintenance of equipment, troubleshooting, interpretation of equipment manuals, and training/mentoring.Essential Job Duties And ResponsibiltiesProvides emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment; reviews equipment status with operational personnel and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of trucks and equipment.Inspects, repairs, maintains, and makes recommendations and performs modifications to functional parts of a variety of equipment and machinery. Diagnoses maintenance requirements on diesel engines, transmissions, drive lines, differentials, electrical circuits, AC power plant, hydraulic systems, and chassis through diagnostic aids, inspections, andinterpretation of equipment reports with assistance. Disassembles, overhauls, and replaces worn parts on equipment as required.Trouble shoots on conventional and specialized equipment and control with assistanceReads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.May perform gas and arc welding as required in routine maintenance.Assists in training and mentoring maintenance technician trainees; orients operators in maintenance procedures and field maintenance for specialized equipment.Minimum QualificationsEducation: Less than High School EducationDegree Field (s): •Work Experience: 0-2 yearsSupervisory Experience: Not applicableRelated ExperienceMechanical skills should include, but are not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of trucks, cranes and related equipment.Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving historyPreferred QualificationsEducation: High School Diploma/EquivalentDegree Field (s): •Work Experience: 2-4 yearsSupervisory Experience: Not applicableRelated ExperienceRelevant experience as maintenance technician in oil and gas industryClass A CDLCurrent HSE certificationsPhysical RequirementsPrecise hand/eye coordination: ConstantlyBasic keyboarding or other repetitive motions: FrequentlyOperation of heavy equipment or operation of vehicles: OccasionallyLifting/pushing objects weighing over: 50 lbs: FrequentlyClimbing and working in awkward and cramped positions: OccasionallyOther (please Specify)Ability to work safely in a shop / warehouse environmentEOE/Minorities/Females/Veterans/Disabled.
