Your new companyOur client is currently seeking to hire high-performing Superintendents to work on cold storage and food storage projects in the Midwest, Rust Belt and Southern East Coast. This role is open to relocators and traveling Superintendents especially.Our partnership client is a Top 20, nationally rated ENR Design Build General Contractor established for almost 100 years. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a premier builder to work on significant, high-profile industrial projects and to become part of the growing Industrial team the company is looking to cultivate.Your new roleWork on new developments between $30M-$100M in the aforementioned locations.Supervise the construction effort to ensure it is in alignment with the design, budget & schedule.Develop and strengthen clients’ relationships with subcontracting partners and decision makers at local & regional agency organizations.Manage the on-site safety programSchedule and coordinate subcontractors and ensure overall contractual performanceManage the schedule and support the project management team with the budgetProvide technical assistance such as interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods and equipment and implementing and maintaining tight quality controlWhat you’ll need to succeedYou will need at least 10 years of experience as a superintendent.If you don’t have cold storage experience, it is preferred that you have insulated wall and superflat concrete experience.You will have full accountability for Master Schedules and be comfortable planning accordingly.To be successful in this role, you must have very strong technical knowledge of the construction process and strong communication skills to work effectively with your subcontractors and project team.Experience using software tools like Procore, Plangrid or Primavera 6 is also preferred.What you’ll get in returnBase salary up to $150k depending on your skill set & experienceEnrollment into the company bonus plan, based on profitability and project performancePotential sign-on bonus3 weeks starting PTO plus 5 sick days, 2 personal days, 7 paid holidays & 2 floating holidaysComprehensive medical, dental & vision plans including spouse/children401k + matching %Travel policy covering your travel, return to home location if required and expenses on-site
